Where your money goes...
We charge a small fee for participants to take part in Obstruction Sheffield. This allows us to put on this wonderful event and raise money for an incredible charity.
​
We aim to support Age UK Sheffield with £4 for every £1 that we spend and need your help to make this happen.
​
In addition to the £15 registration fee all participants are required to raise £15 minimum sponsorship to directly support Age UK Sheffield.
​
We would like to encourage individual participants to reach a further £50 in their sponsorship. All participants who reach this goal will be entered into a prize draw with a chance to win great prizes such as a Sheffield United T-Shirt signed by the team.
By doing this we will exceed our target and help the older generations all across Sheffield to reconnect with the community and with their family to defeat loneliness.
So ask your Friends, ask your Granny, ask your Boss and help us, help Age UK Sheffield.

All participants who raise over £50 sponsorship will be entered into the sponsorship prize draw announced on the 12th March 2017. Prizes include a fully signed Sheffield United T-shirt, shown below:

Only 3 miles towards the coast from Sleights lies Whitby, a picturesque Yorkshire fishing town. Providing many wonderful attractions inluding the famous Abbey and Whalebone Arch, the East and West Piers, St. Mary's Church and the 199 Steps as well as a myriad of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants as well as it's extensive sandy beach, Whitby is one of the top seaside destinations in the country.
